Here’s a piece published in Philosophy Now’s very cool zombie issue. The article was about how zombies could technically have meaningful existence as they have both purpose (‘get brains’) and satisfaction (‘eat brains’). I’m simplifying it a bit, but was fun to read. 🙂
Update: I just found out the text for the article is available on-line for those who are curious, but the cartoon above is for subscribers/print version – you saw it here first!
Very very cool that you and your work continue being published in Philosophy Now!! Good job PN 🙂 Good work Mel!
The zombie analysis and comparison to life, too, is most intriguing…what I’ve read of it so far 🙂
Thanks! I like the zombie issue, it was a lot of fun. Basically it was a great platform to spin off philosophy ideas from, which also made for gruesomely fun reading. 🙂
Weird how Zombies have become a topic worthy of discussion! They’re everywhere!!!!! AHahaha!
There’s been a few pieces talking about that very thing lately (zombies everywhere), and theorizing it’s because our modern culture induces a zombie-like presence. Kind of interesting.
